About
The March For Our Lives is a new, student-driven movement for stricter gun control in the United States. Gun violence is an epidemic in our country. The ease with which to obtain a gun has taken too many lives, for too long. It is time for the children who have suffered the most from these reckless, gun-friendly laws to step-up where no one else has.
For too long complacency and greed has run this debate, too long have tragedies been pushed aside and forgotten. It’s up to us to fight for not only those who have already been lost, but those who will inevitably follow if nothing is done. United States citizens deserve the right to feel safe in their schools, public places, and homes.
March with us on the 24th, not only for the seventeen fallen Parkland students, but the fifty-five victims of the Las Vegas massacre, the twenty-six from Sandy Hook, the thirteen from Columbine, the thirty-two from Virginia Tech, and the countless more that have been forgotten and pushed aside. March for the friends and families that have seen no justice from lawmakers. Join us and say, “Never Again.”
